The concept of a teacher standing in front of a room full of students listening to and responding to instructions is increasingly a thing of the past.
While this is not a completely new approach, student learning will go beyond the ordinary classroom we know today. In this way students become partners or co-creators of their own learning.
“Experiences that enable collaboration, communication, and teamwork for all students often take place outside of the classroom. We need to make those experiences easier in context, and our classrooms need to reflect that,” says McLaughlin.
They are formed to allow collaboration on learning projects between individuals, small groups, or large groups.
Classrooms will coexist as physical and online spaces, transforming current learning models so students can study at home and spend time in class, collaborate, and apply their knowledge in real life.
